The 2017 Native American Dance & Music Festival promises performances by The Akwesasne Women Singers, Bear Fox, Kevin Locke, Iroquois Social Dancers, and the festival’s first ever juried art show!

Ganondagan’s Native American Dance & Music Festival is the only event of its kind in Western New York, drawing over 4,000 people from around the country and world each year. This popular summer event features a wide range of Native American traditions. Native dancers, musicians, storytellers, and artists will be on hand to display their talents and cultural heritage.

Follow the Canandaigua Finger Lakes Beer TrailCraft beer fans: did you know that the Finger Lakes region is home to more than 75 microbreweries? It’s true. Best of all, they can be discovered along the Finger Lakes beer trail!

Craft beer popularity has grown by leaps and bounds in the US during the last 20 years or so. In a market once dominated by similar tasting, big brand beers, freshness, innovation, and regional flavor have made a resounding comeback.

The Finger Lakes are not immune to this trend. As I said above, there are now more than 75 craft breweries in the Finger Lakes – and there may be even more by the time I am done writing this post! Tasting rooms and brew pubs are all over the Finger Lakes, making tourings and tastings easy to come by. So easy, in fact, that numerous Finger Lakes beer trails have been created around them.
