The Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum is an 1816 Federal-style mansion located in Canandaigua, NY. The historic home and grounds were home to Gideon Granger, Postmaster General of the United States under Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. In fact, he also holds the record for his 13 years as Postmaster General. Granger (1767 – 1822) was also a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives.
